    INVICTUS GAMES

The Invictus Games, championed by HRH Prince Harry, and presented by Jaguar Land Rover, is an international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick service personnel that takes place in London.

In September 2014, teams of servicemen and women from 13 nations, both serving and veteran, competed in the inaugural Invictus Games in London. Inspired by his visit to the Warrior Games in Colorado, USA, in 2013, HRH Prince Harry was determined to put together an international event that celebrated sport as a vehicle to recovery.

As presenting partner, Jaguar Land Rover staged a competitive driving challenge, including a challenging off-road course, to highlight the role of motorsports in rehabilitation. HRH Prince Harry was at Gaydon to present the medals.

In addition 150 Jaguar Land Rover employees joined 450 other volunteers to help run the Games. Jaguar Land Rover aims to create a lasting legacy by exploring ways to enhance the valuable role of veterans as skilled employees.
